North Shields Hockey Club is an inclusive club
based at John Spence Community High School. We provide opportunities
and support to anybody who wishes to participate
in the game of field hockey on a friendly or competitive basis. Or
just be part of a great club.
Newcomers to the sport are particularly welcome. Our membership fees aim to make the game affordable. Yearly membership for those playing competitive league hockey ranges from £60 for adults and £30 for juniors, students, retired and school. Weekly match fees range from £5.00 to £2.00. Our Tuesday night training is free for juniors and £2.00 for adults. School children who are not playing league games may come along to training without needing to pay a yearly membership although we do ask for a £10 annual fee to cover insurance costs. If you wish to play we would be delighted to hear from you! To contact us please email the Club Secretary or pop by the school on most Tuesdays at 17:30 or Saturdays 13:00, when we are normally playing.
